Just wandering if the XP exam changes each year like the the comptia exams. I will be taking the test in 2003 and want to know if I should wait and get a 2003 book. I think I'll get the MCSE training kit for xp pro.
Thanx for any help.

I don't know if there will be a whole new test for objective changes, but I believe that there are new questsion added all the time. When you go to take the test, the testing center gets a version of the test, but it can contain any of the questions in the question pool. I think it randomly selects the questions. This way, no two tests are ever alike.

Anyone else hear that?

Don't wait! Just grap the latest edition of MS Training Kit if you're doing self studies. Check out the exam website for the objectives. The objectives won't change, so the scoope of the exam won't change. The questions will change however. And the change is not yearly. It's either half yearly or quarterly.

If you take the same exam twice, the 2nd time a few days after the 1st, you'd probably see a lot of same questions. The questions will be totally different if you take the exam twice with a long time gap in between. Well, at least that's what I experienced. Someone else might experienced otherwise.

Good luck!

That's pretty much what I'm doing. Don't wait. Work provided me with a set of MS study materials for 70-270, but I noticed that it has the older white cover on it instead of the new blue/black covers. It shouldn't matter as the materials should all be the same.
