| There's only one problem - a little thing called copyright infringement!!! | |
| Cobby 2001-10-17, 10:19 pm |
| Ok sorry, I did not know you could not trade used goods that you own and have receipts for. I am still not sure how that infringes on the copyright, oh well.
I will sell or trade them at the local community college where I purchased them.
Thanks for the heads up bud.
Peace -Jay | |

| Hey Paisleyskye,
I apoligize for the salutation "bud" I just read your post not your profile.
But thanks anyhow, however maybe this is an inappropriate place to try to trade materials.
But it is often done at my school and does not violate any US copyright laws as does not the selling of used books. However the sale of used or unused software in any form does. So once again I apoligize I just saw the other members post and thought "wow I could use to get rid of all this used stuff and maybe shell out less hard earned bucks to get new materials".
I have a good job but also have 3 great kids and Vegas has been hit hard after the terrorists attacks. No one wants to fly on a plane to come here so money is very tight for us, but like all of you I aspire to improve my education and need to provide for my family in the meantime. | |

| Hi Cobby,
No problem. Yes it is true that you can't distribute copies of troytech etc. It's right in the agreement that you have to agree to before they sell you the product. The same is true with Transcenders.
You are right about books though - they can be sold or traded. |
