Excuse me, I need to vent.

I can't F%$&ing believe how much it is costing me to write one damn exam!

I really really think the combined industries that are involved in IT certifications need to give their collective heads a shake.

This is what I fuigure my Exchange Cert will cost me:

Test fee: $187 (CND)
Books: $140 (CND)
Transcenders $200 (CND)

Thats $500 +

Am I just a whiner... doesn't that seem crazy... for one cert?

No wonder Kazaa is so damn popular.

I am more than happy to purchase licenced software.... But $129 U.S. for 1 Prep Test...

And don't get me started on Microsoft.... Seeing as how after you become an MCSE you are for the most part going to recomend to any future employer or client that they should buy MS products... the damn test should be free to write.

Thank You, That is all.

I am all about free exams!

And I have used them in the past, but in my experience I haven't found any that come close to being like the real exam.

In the end, you get what you pay for.. Even when you can't stand the price.

The price of M$ exams have gone up in the UK as well, we now have to pay tax on exams. The old price was £88 now it is £103.40.

It seems like the government are really keen on education and are encouraging us all the way !!!

practice exams are not suposed to be similar to the real exam, they are suposed to test your knowlege on the material and give you a touch of the exam.
