I need one more elective exam to meet the requirements for my MCSE and I am studying for E2K now. I have read through the Sybex book 2 times for 5.5. However, we are running 2K at work. I can't see wasting time with the 5.5 exam since I won't really learn anything. However, I think that I could just cram for a week or so and pass the 70-081. Thoughts? I would learn much more taking the E2K exam plus it seems

224...

It's as revolutionary in terms of 5.5 as Windows 2000 is to NT.

I am only in the third chapter and it is nothing like 5.5 I am taking a design class for Network Security in 4 weeks. I am excited. I am thinking that I will really cram for the E2K and pass it before that time. I use it at work so I have a test environment ;-)

Best of luck with your choice of E2k. I have been enjoying the study of this topic, especially in the lab.

Go for the Exchange 2k, quite number of companies are actually migrating their existing 5.5 to 2K.

Moreover, exchange 2003 will be launching soon. No point clinging onto old technology. If there's time, you can try to read books on 5.5, if you wish to.

Good lucks !!!

Ypu pretty much have to know/study Exchange 5,5 for the 224 exam anyway, Many exam topics refer to migration and mixed mode topology.
