| Hi,
I have this issue:
A colleague of mine is a department head, hence, he accesses his personal mail box as well as the department mailbox. Both boxes reside in Exge 2000 server and the client is Outlook 2000. Client OS is Win 98.
We have set the profiles as "NT password authentication" for his mailbox and "None" for department mailbox, so when he selects the department profile, he should give department user id and password.
The problem now is when he is logged in with his user id, and tries to access department password, server folders do not open. This has happened recently after installing Directory Services client for Win 98. Uninstalling DS Client does not help.
Any suggestions ? | |

| If the mailbox has the appropriate permissions applied, you shoud not have to change the authentication setting on the mailbox from the default. You user should just be able to 'open another users' inbox' under their own credentials in outlook. The permissions need to be applied to each desired folder, if I recall correctly. Can you access the mailbox under its credentials? |
