I came accross a thing today..
situation... standalone server running NT4SBS sp6 and exchange 5 ...1 x ide 13gb hdd disk c=4gig ntfs d=8gb ntfs,
the fujitsu hdd is having some trouble and needs to be replaced
set the ghost running keeping the system volume the same size and allowed drive d (labbeled storage) to be resized. ghosts ok (but toook ages), server reeboots...is all ok, but Exchange is busted.. can't opem the information store (which i conclude had to have been on d). I ended up switching back to the old disk and creating a mirror..
my question is this, where did i go wrong? why did'nt exchange work after the diskcopy ?
any thoughts would be appreciated, thank you
