| Passing score is 755; I made an 866. It was a fixed-length exam (45 questions); the time limit was something like 1-1/2 hours. (I finished with 45 minutes to spare.)
I thought Barry Shilmover's review at MCPMag (http://test.mcpmag.com/reviews/Exam...EditorialsID=79) was pretty much on target, even though he took the exam while it was still in beta. I got LOTS of questions on backup and recovery (and the MOC didn't even touch on that!), several questions about multiple stores/storage groups, and several questions about system performance and bottlenecks. About every third or fourth question had an exhibit. I think all the questions were multiple choice (there may have been one hot-spot, or maybe I'm remembering the practice exam). There were several multiple-answer multiple-choice questions, but--thank heavens--none of the dreaded "pick all that apply" (they all said "pick 2").
I used the MOC, ResKit, online help, and Self Test Software practice exam to prepare. The STS exam was OK, but not as tough (or as wordy) as the real thing.

| Andy--I never used Exchange 5.5; most of my e-mail experience is with Novell GroupWise. However, all the study materials I used assumed some experience with 5.5 and went to great lengths to explain the differences between 5.5 and 2000. There were some questions on the test about upgrading from 5.5 to 2000, and about mixed 5.5/2000 environments, but it wasn't a major part of the exam.
