Can someone point me in the right direction?

My place of work currently has 25 PCs (each running Win 2000, an ACER server running Windows Server 2003.

In the last 4 months we have had 5 separate PCs lose their users profiles, when the user has logged on in the morning they have lost all their personal settings.

Does anyone know why or how this happens, it is becomming a real problem.

Wasn't sure where to post this question, so sorry if it's in the wrong place .
