Linux+ study guides that only cater to the CompTIA exam have received luke warm reviews. Your best bet is to pick up a good Linux book, install the OS and start cranking thru the exam objectives.

I found the Beginners Guide to Linux Administration by Steve Shah (ISBN: 0072131365 ) to be good. It is now in its 3rd edition but the 2nd ed. is very good (worked for me) and you can find a copy very cheap on amazon (like $3.)
