Took it and failed yesterday, am going to try it on Friday again...

For whom that wants to take the exam:
106 Q and 106 Minutes, 760/1000 to pass.
I failed because that I could not finish the questions, I was about 14 Q's away...

You don't have much time to think which one is it, you need to KNOW which one IT IS...

I am hoping to have a few repeat questions while I still remember them, and be able to finish the test.

It is mostly scenario Q, like:
You learn shown that they understood the objects, and were able to answer the open question, but after a formal exam, they did not do so well, which competency was not done.

This test took me quite a while also. You do really have to watch your time. I really recommend you buy the book dude!

Good luck Twister! It sounds like time management is definitely an issue with this test. Don't forget about checking the "review" box for questions. Most people recommend that you go through every question once and mark the answer as you feel best. Go through all 106 questions and with about 5-10 minutes left, begin checking that you have an answer for each question.

Well, if I can finish then I will be able to go back. My English SUCKS the big time... I am hoping that I will see some same questions, so I can just jump to answers... if not, I might just have to take a speed reading class first...
If not it will be 30 days before I can do anything else... may be I will take I-Net+ next...

BTE, thanks guys for responding... 12 hours 20 minutes and counting...

Stand in line buddy. English is my first language and I still suck at it!
It took me 3 weeks for studying and passing i-Net+, though I would have been able to do it in 2 weeks given what I saw on the test and already knew. I tend to be more on the cautious side when it comes to prep time and also taking into account the costs of CompTIA exams. But hey, think positive for CTT+!

Thanks SuperTech.

The Boson exam are pretty good reflection of the real exam, a few key points are word for word Q, be then again those key point were also word for word in the How to be a successful technical trainer. I also used the cramsession's note, it is got a few good point too. The 20 example Q from the Unauthorized CTT+ guide book was good too. It provided a few insight to the idea of questions.

Let's just say that I failed by a small margin and passed by a small margin too... I will say competencies 4, 7, 8, 9 ,12 and 13 were pretty tricky...

Well, passing is passing... While working on the video, i-net next...

Great job Twister!
I'm sure the video portion will be easy to do considering your personality. Its all about firing up the classes enthusiasm for the subject material and providing them the information on the subject. Are you teaching currently or do you need to set up a mock class?

Not sure yet about how the video portion gonna be... it will depend on if the school hires me, as I am an independent consultant, our schedules have to match... Thanks for the kind words...
