There is a wonderful site that you can purchase the test discount vouchers with the best prices for all CompTIA exams. Visit:

www.ExamVouchers.com

to get them. I hope this information can help you to save money on the exams.

According to CompTIA's new pricing, all prices for CompTIA exams will increase an average of about 7% after January 31, 2002. I suggest everyone who wants to take the CompTIA exams within two years go get the discount vouchers before January 31, then you can register the exams within one year and get another year to schedule your exams.

Good luck!

This is the first time I have ever heard of this company,
so I do not know their reputation.
I don't think they are affiliated with CompTIA or the Prometric/VUE
testing centers.

I didn't like the fact that I have to pay them the entire amount of the exam
and not just a small price for a discount coupon.
I thought you could only register for an exam and pay for an exam
through an authorized Prometric or VUE testing center?

Sound good though, a discount is a discount
but I would be careful if you don't know the company very well.

I used discount voucher before, it works just fine and does save some money. I have taken a look of that site. It is a member of CompTIA. I do appreciate this info that let me have more chances to compare and get discount voucher.

I bought a voucher from some company on the web for 165.00. The voucher number was e-mailed to me the same day, then I registered for the exam on Prometric's website. I just searched the web for "CompTIA voucher". Why would you not buy a voucher, 190 - 165 = 25 in savings.

As an unafilliated 3rd party in this discussion, I do know that testing centers do receive vouchers for their students at a discounted rate, and then pocket the difference. It is about $25-40. So it is possible that this is on the level!

I too used them for both A+ tests and the N+ test. If you use their voucher at Prometrics web site (2test.com) they work just fine. vouchers come to you in Word format with a password which is e-mailed sepatately. He might sound like an ad because he did his research (about 2 minutes worth) bought a voucher and it worked the way they said it would. Note that this post is not slick or concise (I've been rambling), but says the same thing. Do you think I'm an ad agent too???

My manager just used them last week.
He checked into them.
Then he signed up for a Linux+ voucher.
They sent a confirmation.
Then in about a day they sent the voucher number.
He went to prometrics site at www.2test.com
and signed up for the test.
He entered the voucher number into the form on the signup page and it was accepted.
He is taking the test today.
saved him aroung $35

I think if you join CompTIA as a member, you can buy vouchers up to $50 off the exam.

I know that a company that's a member of CompTIA can buy vouchers at $50 off, so that's how they selling vouchers at discount. The company needs to make some profit also, so I don't expect to find a voucher at over $20 to $30 off the exam.

By the way, CompTIA is not very happy with the companies that re-sell their vouchers. Basically, CompTIA sells vouchers to training companies so that they can re-sell them to their students or to package vouchers into their training program. CompTIA does not authorize the simple re-sale of their vouchers for profit. I spoke to them about it and they said that they will not renew the CompTIA membership to companies that re-sell vouchers on the website to non members.
