Just passed the CWNA exam!! very very vague!!
There were questions like "what are the security mechanisms for 802.11 standard set by the IEEE" Gave you options WEP, Open Sytem, Shared key, Access control list, ect..

There were other questions like how many Service sets are there, or what are they. Example again BSS, IBSS, ESS, CSS. Anyway on to finish my CCNA, CCNP...

I've been reading the official guides (.pdf)from the website. Somehow I stopped on chapter 6,...I guess it's on pending for now.
What material(s) did you use btw?
I'm not working in wireless, btw
But I thought wireless will be the 'next big thing' so, it won't hurt to get extra knowledge

Thank you, very interesting. They seem to have set it up more or less like Cisco. I guess when wireless really takes off all over the CWNE will be the hot cert to have. Since they don't know yet what the hands on exam will cover, It would appear that we will need to keep an eye on this one.

Wireless IS the next big thang. I sit for the Adaptec ACSP this Friday (sending good Karma to Namrak), the it's off for the CWNA. I would like to finish it up in time to blow the new Wireless+ beta out of the water (screw up the curve

)

Everything is going wireless!

But, of course, that just makes Security+ more relevant.
