| wbafrank you are right !! But if you read the voucher if you do not register by 12/31/01 you are out of luck. I also am planning to try the ITProject + exam. There were several things that ecommerce matls did not prepare me for. I also saw a test you can buy for 24.95 but I can't remember where. Thanks for the kind words. | |

| Good morning (over here anyway!) I am planning on taking IT Project+ and CTT+. The exam vouchers from my experience are sent to you after you complete one of CompTIA's surveys or contribute to their test. I have been offered in the past.
Anyway, timmyq45, what are you doing to prepare for IT Project+? I have searched for items related to this exam. Stuff's hard to find. | |

| computer man check out www.pmi.org and www.esi-intl.com. the first has a downloadable version of the project management book of knowledge, which is what i believe is the basis of the itproject test. esi is a company which teaches a series of classes which specialize in it project management. take 7 of them in 3 years and you can obtain a masters certificate in pm from george washington university. these are not cheap but also can lead to another cert called pmp. it is similar to the cissp only for pm. pmp is considered alot more significant if you want to be a pm (project manager) anywhere. i have attended one of the esi classes and found it to be excellent. hope this helps. | |

| http://www.mct-training.com/ is where i went to prepare for the ctt+ exam. Robin does these classes all over the country and i found it to be excellent. i did the ctt+ because it is accepted by more companies than just MS. i also used him because he guarantees you will pass the video portion of the exam. the boson test will help you with the prometric part of the test, and there are many people who have done their own video, but i was reimbursed for part of the class, and i can tell you i felt i got my money's worth. theclass was 3 days, 8+ hours each day. i did learn a tremendous amount there. | |

| THANKS A BUNCH! Excellent info. Actually, I am in management right now after several years as a network engineer. I moved up the ladder fairly quickly. I need more project management education. | |

| computer man go to esi website - you will find government is one of their largest customers. Another thing is they are used to having things paid for thru the gov. | |
