For all those that are interested in going for the IT Project+ and e-Biz+ certs from CompTIA, I've found out where training material can be purchased from.

According to CompTIA, the only company that is providing material for these exams is Wave Technologies (www.wavetech.com). At present there is nothing on thier web site because it hasn't been released yet. It's expected to be released sometime next month. That's when they'll put something on their web site.

I've received an e-mail and am including a segment below for anyone interested in it. The package includes a manual and 4 CDs. The cost is $595 U.S. and this does not include the cost of the exam which is another $140 U.S. I've also included a copy of the information on the e-Biz+ course which is the same price and layout.

Here is the IT Project+ information:

Obviously, the choice is yours on if you're interested in purchasing the material, but I would imagine that shortly companies such as Sybex, ExamCram, and Hungryminds (used to be IDG) will be coming out with something at the standard prices for cert books.

Microsoft has withdrawn the Project: Advanced course.

Thanks for the info. I am indeed interested in these exams, although probably not until the end of the year.
