Heya,

I contacted Sylivan Prometric to book for the 310-011 exam, they informed me that I need to first contact Sun Microsystems and purchase a voucher, then submit the voucher to the testing station and then pay the exam fee.

Any comments regarding this process, because I dont think it's correct that I must pay twice to do on exam ?

Thanks
Trevor

If you end up paying twice you talk to a supervisor for a refund. If not, call your credit card company and retract the order to refund your money.

The voucher number you purchased from Sun
is what you need to take an exam at Prometric. That's actually the exam fee.
voucher no = payment

Trev,

As said earlier, what you do is call SUN at 1-800-872-4786 and buy a voucher or vouchers.
You will be asked what Solaris exam(s) you want to take. You will be given the voucher numbers over the phone. You will, however, receive the statement/bill days later in which voucher numbers' included.

Once you get your voucher #, call Prometric to schedule your exam(s) and have the voucher number ready. You will be asked for it.

Good luck.

Srey
