Hi all,
I passed the Solaris 8 admin part 1 with a 75%. taking part 2 this week. I bought the SA-238-288 books from a broker on E-bay. they are the books used in Sun classes, which cost $2500+ each ( 2 total). they map directly to the exams. I purchased them for $185 from e-bay. For anyone interested in becoming certified, for my $.2 worth, I would recommend these books ( some come with CBT cd's),also get a copy of
Solaris 8 Intel, and practice!
but a certification is no replacement for working knowledge. while you can get away with MS certs from bootcamps because everything in MS is GUI - point and click -,if you don't know
shell scripting and command line syntax for Unix, you're dead in the water.
