| Hi,
I passed exam 310-012 and completed my SCSA 8 in these days. You can find some negative comments about this exam on forums like this, people complain about the wording and some strange questions. My impression was quite different, the exam seemend nothing but fair and pretty straight forward. Iīve been using the official "SA-288 Student Guide" along with my homelab for preparation and was able to pass easily. So if you understand the concepts and know your commands, there is nothing to be afraid of.
Best of luck !

| Hi,
congratulation for your Scsa, goodluck for the Scna, the Scsa is strait but i think Scna is more difficult but if you are cisco certified you probably do it easly

| Thanks,
Iīve already taken a look at the "SA 389 Student Guide" and agree with you ... there are a lot of topics that a CCNP should know about. Besides that Iīve stopped studying for a couple of weeks and started playing with the new versions of RedHat, SuSE and MS Services for UNIX

| Thanks,
this reminds me to ask you another question. I think I remember one of your posts where you mentioned that youīre holding the RHCE ... If thatīs true, how would you rate the effort it takes to achieve this certification, especially compared to the SCSA / SCNA ? I know itīs a lab-based cert, but thatīs also a challenge and keeps the braindump-idiots away from it.
