| Well, I have been using the information from this group as well as the Unixed testing material for the Solaris 8 part I exam. I have it on Sunday.
Was very surprised to see all the questions on vi in the Unixed tests. That is throwing me for a loop since I didn't see anything on this in the Sun Solaris 8 course guide. That and the tar commands both have me a little worried since I just don't have the time to remeber all the commands that go with these.
As for the rest, I hope that I am prepared. Thanks to everyone here for all the assistance that you have given me. Hopefully by next week I will have completed this successfully. I don't have time to take it again since I have the CISSP on December 8th (need to start studying now!!).
A question, do you get a certificate form Sun after finishing SCSA I?? | |

| You don't get anything until you have passed the part2, then you become a SCSA. Good luck in your exam am sure you will pass it. | |

| Well, to say the least, I did much worse then I thought that I would. I missed the minimum passing score by 2 questions. As I feared, the test was a rampage on the man pages. I wasn't ready for some of the quarky vi and command questions that they had.
So, knowing that now, will take a few weeks to go through the man pages to 'get back to basics' so I can get by this test figured out. Other then that, thought that it was pretty simple. Just prepared in the wrong direction.
That and getting the Flue two days before didn't help much for my concentration!! | |
