hi dudes...
i m new to this forum.i was doing cisco certs all this time..now i have come to solaris.i need help to get a good start for this...somebody help me how to start with this...i know little bit of unix..also i wanted to know the difference between running solaris in SPARC and INTEL machines...certification is based on what actually?..

Don't worry too much on the difference between the platform. To me the main difference is the boot process and the disk device name. The difference do not make you very frustration during study.

Student guides are useful for studying. Much better if you can use the JavaTutor at the same time.
