I am going thhrough the mcsd track and have not taken any test Yet Planning on takng the 70-305 exam pretty soon.

I need some very unbiased opinons on what sutdy matertials you used to pass the test.

Right now I have the book MCAD/MCSD Training Guide (70-305): Developing and Implementing Web Applications with Visual Basic.NET and Visual Studio.NET [Paperback]
By: Mike Gunderloy it came highly recommended on Amazon. I am considering test simulators and exam questions. I was checking out http://www.certifysky.com/ which looked promising I also was checking out the Transcender exams also looks good.

There are soooo many places out their that claim to have very accurate testing material which place is really good. You cant really trust the testimonials because its always stacked in their favor.

How long did you study for each exam and what materials did you do. I have to imaging that he more accurate the test simulator and questiosn the far greater chance you have of passing.

I plan to tackel this one test at a time
70-305 70-310 and 70-229 will be my first 3 exams..

PLEASE HELP!

Yeah man, I've been trying to figure a lot of these kinds of things out myself. So far - from what I've seen on different newsgorup postings - etc. the different practice exams and study guides can cost some bucks and you don't really know whether they're relevant or not.

I've passed a couple of exams so far and what seems to work best is just to try to learn the material, with an Exam Cram book, or maybe a Microsoft Study Guide. the tests are problem-solving oriented...if you know the material, you can solve the problems.

The practice tests I've seen seem to be oriented toward memorizing buzzwords and details - and that's not what the exams focus on at all.

I wouldn't mind spending a few bucks on something that really reflects on what I should expect to see on a test - but nobody's convinced me so far that anything that's out there does that.
