| Hi, what do you guys use to pass the 70-176(VB desktop) exam?? Does Transcender really help you a lot like they do to MCSE exams??
and I know this is wrong, but can anyone tell me where to download the Transcender exams for MCSD?? I've found whole bunch of MCSE but no MCSD.

| hi topbat
176 has too many question on bilding user interface, make sure that you are master on ListView, TreeView, MDI, Listbox, combobox.
You also need to focusing on ADO and COM.
I use old transcender (march 99) and it's 75% different with actual exam. But you can use it for preparation. If you have further question, mail me

I have couple of questions:
Is the testking for MCSD (70175, 176, 100) as good as for Oracle --> meaning most of the questions in exams are present in it?
And are there some books or studyguides which covers all the objectives correctly step by step (referencing <again> oracle's ILTs) ?
BTW, how long do You think it would take to pass 3 MCSD exams (70-175 ,176, 100) if I can study 12 hours a day ?

| 12 hours a day ?
you must be superman
I take about 10 month for 175, 176 and 100 with 4 hours a day, combining with my on hand experiences at my job.
This the book for you :
MCSD Training Guide VB6 from New Rider, by Howard Hawhee (good technicl detail)
MCSD in a NUtshell from O Reilly , by James Foxall (Very good review for the exam)
Architecture Exam ExamCram, for 70-100
You can learn 176 & 175 simultanously, because too many overlap on both.
you can download free demo practice exam from the following site :
cert21.com
ucertify.com
selftestsoftware.com
prometric.com
transcender.com | |

| as your profile mention that you have certified on web & oracle, I think it's possible for to get it. If you have sufficient background 0n progr & database, your goal is fair enoug |
