I wonder whether any of you have been involved with beta testing for Transcender products?
I have just signed up to participate in the beta testing for the two SQL Server 2000 exams, Admin and Database Design, which were the two exams I was planning to take next anyway!
If you're accepted for this program, Transcender send you a key to download and install the exam software, and you have free use of it.
There are two things you need to do. Firstly, you need to take the exam by the deadline Transcender give you, and secondly, you need to send them specific feedback on the product you've been beta testing.
I had to disclose my credit card number to Transcender, so in case I don't take the exam and provide the feedback by the deadline, they will charge me. They promise not to charge me if I do fulfill my side of the deal.
I think it's a super way to get free use of Transcenders, and I'll be sure to let you know how it goes and if I find any catches in the scheme.
My question is, if anyone out there has participated in this, is how much detail etc do Transcender require you to give in your feedback? Can you give me any guidelines as to the format etc you used?
