| Hello people,
Can anyone help me out with a little advice. I have just started my first steps in becoming a MCSD, i am currently 1/4 through my book ( Desktop applications with VB 6.0 for exam 70-176). Basically can anyone give me some guidance to which areas i should play close attention to for the exam. At the moment i am working through all chapters taking notes trying to refresh and remember the concepts in my mind.
I just wondered if there was any particular subjects that have stronger focus points than the other areas.
Many Thanks
Nick

| Nick,
Just don't get me wrong. I didn't say - you will see questions from these areas only. The majority of the questions will be in these areas... | |

| Hi Nick,
Just to say from experience that it's really important to practise what you learn in your study guide, and make sure you're happy reading and understanding chunks of code - you could look up examples in the MSDN.
With both the desktop and distributed VB exams, I found that the questions were LONG! and required you to read pieces of code, spot the differences between examples, etc.
The more hands-on you have, the easier you'll find this.
Hope this helps (if you've not taken the exam already, of course!)
By the way, nice to see someone from the UK, that's where I am too!
