Hi, I am really confused and in a big need for help, I've been working on my MCSD. Things went so well for the first 3 tests (with some review, I passed 175, 176, and 152 test at the first try with average score 850). However, I failed 2 times for the 70-100 --the first time with a score of 725 and the second time with 706 :-( My problem was that I was really confused about 2 cases study in the test, specifically the Cost Tracking System case and the Hair Product Sale case which contain most multiple choice questions. I read and reread the case, but still could not find the points that fit the possible answers for the multiple choice questions. I am confused and don't know how to prepare for the test. Do you know any document or materials which would help me with my problem? I would really appreciate your help
Thanks

The 70-100 exam is arguably the hardest MS exam which you can take. It wouldn't be considered unusual for someone to fail repetitively.

MS advise that you have at least 2 years experience in data modeling/architectures.

What books/training materials have you been using to study?

Thank you for responding to my problem. Actually, I did not use any specific book to prepare for the test. The way I prepared for the test was that before using Transcender exam to test myself, I read the materials that I search on the MSDN library based on the MS guide for the 70-100 exam. With a few years of experience, I did very well on the logical data modeling/data flow and other type multiple choice questions in the practice exams; and I had no problem with these kind of questions in the real test. However, my experience and what I’ve practiced did not help me at all in analyzing the case to answer the multiple questions that based on the info and the users' opinions provided in the case. And unfortunately, the 2 cases that I have problem with appeared every time in my test. I wonder what is the ways to read between the lines to get the main idea for each type of questions in these cases or if there is a training class that I can discuss about the specific questions that I have a problem with.
Thanks

I think you've just had a run of bad luck

I would still suggest though to invest in an exam cram book (Coriolis do one called Exam Cram - Architectures ISBN: 1576103781), these books spell out exactly what you need to know and what you don't need to know, there are also lots of hints & tips.

However all the studying you do still can't fully prepare you for a bit of good old fashioned Microsoft logic.
