| Is it worth it or should i continue on down the 2000 path of MCSE? I know this question is based upon what you work on but from a perspective of a manager hiring someone, would i be an underdog to someone with a 2k3 MCSA? | |

| You hit the biggest part on the with the hammer. The most important thing is whether or not the company's network is already on Win2003. If so, you're going to obviously need to convince them your knowledge of 2000 can easily transfer to Win2003.
Certifications are gravy when it comes to the overall package you bring. I think if you are attempting to hire on with a tech company, they would note the difference between MCSA2000 and MCSA2003.
Ultimately, it will come down to your personality, work ethic and whether they believe you will be an asset with the company. Good luck! |
