| I am finishing my associates degree as a Network Administrator in college. I graduate in May. I have completed Cisco courses, A+, Microsoft etc. I am studying for the Security + exam aside from school since my next and final term I will be taking Securing a Windows Environment so I want to try to get Certified in Security + before I graduate. In the meantime since I finished all major courses I am taking advanced Access to fill credits. This will be my first Cert. What do you feel would be the next good Cert. Cisco is changing too much what I learned from it in school the exam has already changed. I know security is a hot field and you will be certified for life. What do others feel about what the next Cert I should take and be worth it? Thanks alot. | |

| Since you have some basic certs out of the way, I would say go for Sec+. All CompTIA's programs are great for foundational info, and, as stated, security is of growing importance. |
