Do most people attach their certifications on their name cards?

If so, how? I was assuming maybe: "(NAME), MCSA 2000".

Also, what certifications are worth attaching to the name cards?

Thanks a lot.

Hi DXU76, I don't think there is any particular sequence. But for me I'd put down MCSE and A+ on my name card as these too would look more eye catching to most potential employers. How is the new job coming on, have you now officially started? Cheerio

I'm starting Monday, been a couple of trainings though. Evidently there is another administrator who is controllng most of the network remotely. I wish he would let me have more control.

So either the job description is way off or they are planning to give more control for the new guy, which is me.

I have 9 certs, but only list my MCSE on my business card. Listing more than one or maybe two certs just makes you look pompous. imo

As far as your duties, they won't throw everything on you when you arrive. I administer all of my servers remotely too. They may intend for you to do desktop support initially. After you've been there about a year and know their network better, you can probably ask to share the network admin responsibilities too.

Yeah, thats what I'm guessing too. But I'm hoping to get my hands into something exciting.

I'd probably put MCSA on my name card. But if I were to look for another opening maybe I'd throw all my chips in.
