I WAS WONDERING THIS:

This is a small PC support business which has several technicians. These technicians do their Job mostly outside. They get service calls. So they get send to different places to perform their job. Ok these technicians have an hourly rate of 50 U$. For every service call they go to, an invoice is created which contains the hours they worked and the price, parts and stuff... So in this case the technician worked 2 hours so he gets paid 100 U$ (let go the parts) So the client is being billed. The technician has to then take the money to the dispatcher, the person that send them to the service call.

Now the question is! Is the technician entitled to get all that money? (100 U$ for the labor?). I thougt that the business should also get a part of it. But in this case it doesn't look like that. Maybe there is something that I dont know....contracts or stuff...Maybe thats how the business runs? Strange...must be something that I dont know.

In many businesses they Charge per Job done. They dont charge per hour. They pay the technicians per hour, but they charge the cliens a huge bill for the service, while technician gets an hourly salary...and it doesnt matter how many computers they fix, they get the same pay....

I don't think I understand the question or the point of the question. Companies all have different ways of billing and paying employees. If you have concerns you should speak to the bosses at the firm that handles the tech support and they can explain exactly how they do it.
