Hi,

I am an IT Manager in a Multi-national Company. I am looking for professional certifications for my job. Could anyone suggest some.

My job requires day-to-day running of the dept, budgets, software projects and maintenence, auditing, recruitment, etc.

Thanks

Well something in project management seems reasonable. Two popular ones are IT Project+ from Comptia check here

Then we have PMP from Project Management Institute (PMI) check here

You might also look at help desk management certifications. Help Desk Institute does some. check here

Depending on your involvement with software you might look into the MCSD from Microsoft or the Oracle or IBM software certifications. This should be enough to get started with your searchs. I assume that you have or are considering university MBA or some closely sync'd business courses.

there a certification that deal with auditing.. (high level) but dont' remember the vendor at this time.

Try to get a graduate level management course. It will help.
