| Your resume looks alright however try and reduce the wordings and summarise your points. Lastly, your work experience should be placed first before technologies and certifications gained. I hope this helps. Best wishes | |

| Everything need to fix in one page.
Objective always on top, below your personal contact
Education
Certification (if applied)
Skill (divided them into OS, hardware, language, software[if needed])
Experience
Other
My comment on error for
Objective > Keep it in one sentence, and get to the point
Skills
> stated what OS or NOS you know
> technoloies and protocols name mean nothing!!! Experience do!!!
> specific which? exa: Cisoc 3000 router
Certification
> don't neet o show the ID
Personal skill > mean Other or Activities
Experience
> keep constant bullet point
> get to the point and your most achieve mission and duty
Need to work on your format and consolidate all your information, a recuriter will not consider this as resume.
I worked with them before.

| In general it does not really speak volumes for whatever you have accomplished. I would start each step of my career with a brief overview of the daily tasks (say in three sentences or less) then use the bullets to highlight my biggest accomplishments.
For each position summarize the duties first in sentence format then bullet list accomplishments that set you apart. Surely there were things that you or your department accomplished that you are proud of. No one wants to read about daily tasks as much as what you have accomplished.
As far as format. I agree that you should restructure. Try to condense your skills so it will be easy for them to see what you know (rather than so much verbiage). Truly make it a summary- perhaps in table form near the top of the first page.

| Excellent feedback!! I am in the process of making some constructive changes to my resume and my intention is to gather your collective input while making these adjustments. I'm aware of some of the changes which need to be made here, and while restructuring the resume, I'll focus my efforts on truncating certain areas in additions to the other suggestions offered here.
1000 Thanks and feel free to continue providing your ideas.

| In regards to my hands-on experience with the various OS's, hardware and such, unfortunately I can only speak of performing such operations in a rather restricted environment...a classroom setting to be exact(Compared to a company or organization). Basically, this means that I don't really possess much in the way of hands-on "real world" experience to display.......yet. However, I'll find a way to properly articulate these sections by the time I'm done restructuring.
Also, I know it's difficult to make resume recommendations when little is known of one's background. As you can see, I just completed my AAS and thereafter landed a phone technical specialist position for an ISP, so hands-on work is difficult to obtain given the nature of my current position, although such a job places me in good position to make a transition to the IT or Engineering department within the organization. Truthfully, I'm looking to expand my technical experience by doing some work at the University or possibly seek some form of volunteer work to augment this section of my resume.
So, please keep these points in mind as you critique my resume. As always, your input is tremendously appreciated!!
Thanks again. |
