Need help with an important question

| I am new to this forum and thought that maybe someone here could help me with a few questions. I am currently working as a marketing, sales, advertising, and customer relations representative for an aviation company, but I'm interested in getting into IT. I was hoping that someone knew of a certification that might blend both marketing and IT together? I know that experience is everything and I wouldn't want to have to start all over again. Are there any certs that cater to people in my position that want to get into IT without losing vital experience? If you know of any vendors that offer a business related cert that combines marketing/advertising experience with IT, I would love to have any info!

| What is IT? Can you define IT?
What is your objective? | |

| I guess by IT I mean the wonderful world of computers. I followed the link that someone posted about project management, and I thought that it looked very promising. However, my objective is to look for something that would be challenging. At the same time, I would like to be in a position to make decisions that would truly affect the success(or lack thereof)of a company. Even if I were to make mistakes, it would be good to know that they were mine. Plus, more earning potential wouldn't be bad either. After doing some more research in project management, I think something like a SAP project manager would be very interesting |
