Prestigious NYC Cultural Institution is
seeking to fill the following positions:
Systems Administrator to install, man-
age, administrate & support Unix (Sun/
Solaris), Linux & MAC servers & sup-
port internal customer server, backup
& restore requirements. BA/BS degree
&/or 3 yrs of Unix/Linux System Admi-
nistrator exp (in 50+server environ-
ment). Demonstrable exp in TCP/IP,
Apache, SQL, project/time manage-
ment; superior writing, verbal & com-
munication skills; ability to manage
multiple complex tasks with minimal
supervision. Large-scale tape backup
exp a plus.
Backup/Restore Analyst/Systems Ad-
ministrator to implement & manage a
large-scale tape backup (NetVault,
ADIC Scalar 1000, for 75+servers) en-
vironment & administrate & support
Unix (SUN/Solaris), Linux & MAC ser-
vers. Must have 2 yrs of demonstrable
exp in large-scale backup & restore im-
plementation, operation, policy &
procedure utilizing NetVault, Legatos
or Veritas software. 3 yrs of Unix/Linux
System Administrator exp; project /
time management, superior writing,
verbal & communication skills; require
minimal supervision & manage
multiple complex tasks.

They dont need someone to get lunch for them.
They could order in or eat out. They have money.
You should try it.
You have a lot of certifications. If they are willing to train you or you are willing to learn, it may work out.
I want that job but I dont know some of the things.
Hey, how come the job description so complicated?
They just want an experience person period.
I will not waste my time to get lunch for them. I will bet my every minute for them to train me if they are willing. I dont mind learning and work for them as a voluneer at all. Sounds a lot to learn and so much fun.
Hope you find the right person. There goes my dream job. |
