| I received an offer today from a company in Northern NM. From the get-go, the company downplayed the salary part of the interview process. I was worried that they would severely undercut what I was asking for: upper 30's (beggars can't be choosers when you're unemployed). The job is as a Lead Network Administrator for a 10-year IT contract at the DoD. They offered TWICE what I was asking. Needless to say, I signed the offer sheet and faxed it back to them. I called them to make sure they received it. Now, I just need to find something between now and then. | |

| Nice crutch. I have never heard of a 10 year contract in I.T. Most contracts seems to be less than 6 months. | |

| No, I didn't get a 10-year contract, the company did. I'll be working for the company at the contract site. | |
