This year, the 'hottest' certifications will be, I guess

(1) McDonald Certified Burgher Frier (MCBF)
(2) Kfc Certified Drumstick Frier (KCDF)
(3) Certifies Burgher King Maker (CBKM)

What do you think?

If these certs guarantee you a job then go for it because these I.T certs don't guarantee anything.

jackie,
I'm the last person to get on anyone's case about anything (frankly I just don't care) but dude, if your that disillusioned with the IT industry get out of it, wash cars, paint houses, prostitute yourself to dirty old men, whatever it takes.
Your obviously not happy in IT and never will be.
just my opinion, and I've been trying to get my first IT job for 6 months now and refuse to go back to driving cab, roofing or anything else I used to do. I will find a job in IT or die trying dammit

jombeewolf, your attitude is good. You must eliminate your competition to survive. You have to be a wolf on the prowl with fangs sticking out. Howl at the full moon if you have to.

how much do the tests cost ?
Just 99 US$ per exam

can you recommend any study guides?
I am writing books for these.

of course no braindumps?
Strictly no brain dumps. But they will allow the brain dumps until their certification become popular.

can you use VUE or Prometric?
Yes.

does anyone want a burger flippers Question of the Day ?
You can start it.

Yesterday, McDonald announed that their MCBF track (version 4) is retired immediately. All the MCBFs(version 4) must pay 500 $ as exam fee to keep their certifications. Exam date and details will be announced later.

As expected, a lot of posts in the forums were angryly blasting MCDonalds for this.

No offence, but I really don't see the point of this thread in terms of its usefulness or direction. I regard this thread as a joke.

Moreover, if you guys are that serious about certifications being worthless then why spend your money and time on getting certified. Just my humble opinion again.

Yes, we have to lighten-up our minds rather than burdening them.

You can get credit for the MCBF if you already have the vendor-neutral HB+, but of course the HB+ costs twice as much as the others.

Agreed.

Once upon a time man was known to exhibit humor. As he huddled around his small fires with large things roaring in the night he said things to entertain himself.

It was good.

Now we've progressed to the point of ribald drivallry and finger pointing and I still fall off my bar stool. (Sometimes I hurt myself)

U forgot the 7-11 Slurpee degree, the WalMart greeter Cert, and the telemarketer evangelist.

If this certification is hot then it must be very dangerous. We need something very cold or warm.

I guess u better give us another offer bcos hot substances are very dangerous to human life

I once worked for Wendy's. What about the Wendy's certification? By the way they had these industrial grade barrels in the basement - you know the kind of thing that people store radioactive waste in, but these were full of solidified fat that trickled down from the grille. Don't know what they did with it - maybe they would dump it into the ocean or something. Hell, at least they actually grilled something instead of microwaving it - not pretending that they grill it like Burger King do. McDonalds sucks - don't eat that stuff. I once got really sick of what was going down so I phoned HQ and they sent me a $7.50 voucher. My final word is ... don't eat that stuff !! After all, it might have been me that cooked it for you.
