| Why not? I can see no negative point in that!! I know friends who got good jobs with certs logo on their CV!! | |

| No. I have too many. | |
|
| I use color logos on the cover letter only, as a form of letterhead. It has always garnered good response. Kind of a quick reference to your certs. | |

| Since I have received my Certs I have not had to look for another job so No but I have thought about it.
Is there any Hiring managers out on the boards that can give your impressions when you see a Resume or CV that has the logo's on them? | |
| wbafrank 2002-06-12, 6:11 pm |
| But I don't either. I feel that it takes the readers eye away from what is written -which at the end of the day gets you the interview!! | |

| Simply put....its a matter of personal preference. Resume writing is an art. In today’s business world, writing ability is as important as technical competency.
I do technical interviews, and while I am technically not a hiring manager, I do make recommendations for hiring, which in reality means, I am a hiring engineer.
Tips for logo use:
1. KEEP THEM SMALL and in color
2. Use your major certifications only.
3. KEEP THEM SMALL.
4. Tailor their use towards the job you are applying for.
5. KEEP THEM SMALL.
Be proud of your accomplishments, but don't force feed the reader with them. |
