I'm preparing for the OS exam and I'm wondering how much brain-space (already in limited supply) I really need to devote to DOS. Obviously I need to know some, but just the fundamentals, or do I really need to know all those switches, exe.'s and error codes in ScanReg?

I've been told a few times to mostly focus on NT 4.0, W2k and troubleshooting with some attention on 9x and DOS. Your experience?

Few DOS commands I had to know. It was mainly DOS memory management.

Meant to post this on A+ forum. I'll post it there too.
Still, any input appreciated.
