I'm sure this has been addressed somewhere in this thread, but here's my situation.
Just got my MCSA. One exam from MCSE. I'm a career changer, moving into the IT field because I found the whole thing fascinating enough to spend endless amounts of time studying about it. I've also gained A+ and NET+ all from self study. Built my own lab to work with etc.etc. in an attempt to learn the concepts as best as i can. Do not have a college degree in anything, but a number of years of solid work experience, outside the tech field.

Considering the current market, what should I expect?
Any suggestions on how I should present myself among all the other candidates out there?
If you were looking at someone in my position, what would you want to see?

entry level

a long haul to find employment

low wage to start but if you are good and willing to prove yourself you will make advancements

What did you do before the change? Have you tried to persue IT in that market. You already know that side of the street. know what i mean? My background is healthcare so i am in on the IT side of things now. Hope this helps.
