Here's a great read for those trying to find work... We get so caught up in the "I just need to get a job" mentality that we forget to interview the company as much as they interview us

Yep every time I have ever done an interview I have usally asked almost as many questions as my interviewer. Which in some cases have caused me not to get a job but like you said. Yes they are interviewing us for a job but we are also interviewing them for a career. Wonderful post Pav. Thanks.

Informative post Pav!

I especially liked the "Dilbert" factor! (Reminded me of my last job! )

Yes, great post! Too true, too true...

quote:
Beware the motivational posters
Oddly, there appears to be an inverse corollary between the number of "motivational" posters and slogans hanging on a companies walls and the quality of the management team. Beware of the company that hangs these things everywhere. They have their time and place, but most well-run companies have excellence and success running through their veins and don't need resort to propaganda.

Nice article. When I interview, I asked them they same amount of questions as they do to me. Asking for ideas, goals, outlooks, present problems needing to be fixed.
It keeps a conversation of interest and further development into good understanding and communication.
