| I'm sure you'll do well. I wouldn't worry about the money just yet. While you're proving your worth you'll be getting the experience you need to earn more. Best of luck to you. | |

| Congrats,
Good time for you to get a shot. You do that whole MCSE without any real exp....well...most people have an extremely difficult time that way.A lot of people move up from being a tech..into the good stuff.Thats the better route..
Good Luck. | |

| That's what I hope comes out of this Masterivc, how many clients are in your LAN, BTW? | |

| Way to go!!!
Dont dwell on where you want to end up. No matter what happens, remember how psyched you are right now that you have this job -- and excell at it.

| It looks like your certifications helped get you your job. Which shows you really earned it yourself, that was no handout.
I recently earned my MCSD after two years in the industry... And my pay just increased by 50% (when I switched jobs). I am finishing an MCDBA now, and I only expect to be in demand more. When you have enough experience and certs, companies and recruiters call you (from web site postings), not the other way around. And that makes all the difference in the world when you negotiate pay for your job. I am speaking from experience on this point...

Actually, they don't know I have any certs yet
| pkupchik 2002-03-01, 10:02 pm |
| Don't you list them on rour resume?
And, didn't you give them your resume before getting the job?
