| What was your non related degree in? What sort of work are you doing now, and what do you want to do in IT? Give us a better background of yourself.
Thanks | |

| If I were you I would leave it on - it shows future employers that you have other interests other than IT!! | |

| Leave it on!
A degree is a degree. Most employers want college educated people, and many require some sort of degree.
Regardless of what your study was in, it shows you can start a four year project and complete it

| Thanks for the replies because i have been feeling like they wont take my economics degree seriously when compared to comp science majors or engineering majors | |

| An economic degree can be applied to many things in life. At least you'll know what a budget is and how to work within one
I agree with Nicole and the others - any degree worth having is worth listing - and any degree you spent four (or more) years obtaining is worth having, so list it!

Are you kidding? Employers love people with a "real" degree, and Econ is one of the best. Too many IT folks have techie tunnel vision, and employers hate that. This will be particularly helpful as you transition into management.

| Agree with the other guys, leave it on your resume. I have put everything I have done professionally on my CV and it has helped me greatly, although I moved from publishing in distribution and am now moving into IT. But I am currently a supervisor, and even though it is not in IT, that will come in handy in the future.

| I'm a recruiter and I say leave it on. I like to know when people have a degree no matter what it is. As someone mentioned, it could come into play later on and if it doesn't? So what. | |

Its hard to break in at the beginning, but things are improving, but I don't think E-coomerce is the place to be. What type of IT work have you done in the last 2 years?

Nick since your obviously not here to study or learn, it seems you would be better served taking your vast knowledge of the computer field and apply for a position in the Human Resources Dept.

| As long as it is a degree, it shall under EDUCATION. | |
