Hi

I haven't gone thru the accelerated MS Press book fully. But I browsed the full contents. To my surprise there is NOT much coverage in the TCP/IP topics. I did the NT4 TCP/IP exam and now Win2K exams need less TCP/IP knowledge.

This is in contrary to what MS told when retiring the TCP/IP elective for NT. They told they wre retiring hte exam since all the TCP/IP knowledge would be incorporated into the core Win2K exams.

I believe a lot of candidates were drawn to the Cisco certification once they are given some introduction/fundementals by doing the NT4 TCP/IP exam. MS wanted to stop that and they play a low tone in it nowadays.

Am I wrong? If so completely?

I took the Win 2K Server exam (70-215) and there were some tcp/ip questions, dealing with ip addresses, dns and dhcp. The focus is at application mainly, less on routing and switching.
