| I live in Toronto, Canada and I was looking into moving to Atlanta to be closer to family. Before I can move I need to find a job, Ive got 3 years of networking and administration expereince with my MCSE and CCNA. What's the job market like down there and does anyone know of some companies hiring?? | |

| There is IT work here, in Atlanta, but, it is a matter of finding it....
Atlanta job scene is mentioned in a few threads I have posted.
If you go this link on both pages, you will some comments back and forth by a few about Atlanta. I think Atlanta mirrors what is going on elsewhere: mass layoffs of IT workers. Finding work is not impossible, but it is a challenge. I mentioned IT heavy hitters: iXL, WebMD and Lucent either closing down completely in Atlanta, amongst other companies.
