Just wondering if anyone out there could give me a little advice on what I should focus on next. I passed the 2000 Pro exam and got my A+ but I was wondering if I should just continue with the MCSE tests or maybe take the Comptia Net+ and then INET+. I will be doing the serious job hunting in september and october, so I wasn't sure what would be more valuable. Possibly 2 more MCSE certs or comptia stuff.
Thanks

You really should have the knowledge tested by the Network+ exam before going for the MCSE. Network+ isn't really worth that much though, so if you may just want to go through the material, but not take the exam. I-Net+ deals with a lot of topics that are outside the scope of the MCSE exams. IMO it would nicely compliment MCSE now that the MCSE+I designation is no more.

Look for long term career.

MCSE is definitly better than MCP. N+ do help to increase your knowledge.

Think deep!

I would finish the MCSE first. There are many reasons but here are a couple.

1. MCSE is respected in the market far more than the network+ or I-net.

2. Once you started the M$ tests you understand the tests and how they are written. Comptia is totally different! Stay on the MCSE track while you are on it.

3. Once you pass the MCSE the other tests will be easier. Comptia test are easier- NO scenerios, just straight forward questions.
