| Im a Systems Analyst for a huge accounting firm, supporting Netware and NT,(MCSE+1,MCNE) but I have been working hard towards my CCNP, I have passed the Routing and Switching so far, along with my CCNA and CCDA. Well, I had a friend refer me to talk to someone about a WAN position, I called him and they gave me technical interview that same afternoon, Im now scheduled to take a written test as the next step in the process. So there is hope to jump over to the WAN side with just a the certs. Im sure my prior OS networking experience helped, but the thing that impressed them was the tests passed and my answers on the technical interview. Of course, I dont have the job yet, but I am hoping. They support the whole WAN for my state government. They say they have over 3000 routers in their WAN.
So keep studying and keep up the hard work and a job can come your way.

| well, the hope continues, I took the written test, it was easily at CCNP level even though they told me it was at CCNA level, and i scored decent on it. I now have a face to face interview on Tues. Cross your fingers for me. | |
