I currently work for a consulting company that has me contracted out to a major company in NYC as a desktop/network support person. I currently have my A+, Network+, Compaq ACT, and MCP certifications and presently working to complete my MCSE. I was just wondering how much should an MCP make with a little over 2 years experience???

Experience get you more salary than a MCP!

Don't measure your certification. It don't work like that, but not much of help.

Don't measure your certification? Then let's all quit taking any exams.

In the real world, if one is only certified, or only experienced, then experience will typically win. If one is both certified and experienced, he/she will likely have better opportunities than one who is relying only on experience. Believe me I've worked with techs who have years of experience, but only in the environment in which they work. Outside that environment they were fish struggling out of water. Just having the years of experience is not always enough, just as having only certifications is not typically enough. Studying to get a few certifications wouldn't hurt to expand their knowledge - and their opportunities.

In my area. In a better economy, you would probably be looking at the low to mid-30's. It may be somewhat lower right now though.

Certs are only as good as the experience that follows it.

It is true some are certified and have no experience. Those folks need to take any position that can give them some hands-on.
Experience is key.
