| I know one lady CCIE that lives in Pakistan. I got mine earlier this year. It's a lot of fun, but one ^%#$@ of a cert to get. I failed my first try. | |

| One of my CCNP book was written by female CCIE.
Has CCIE open many new opportunities for you?
Do your male coworkers give you the respect of a CCIE?

| Yeah, it was a rough one though. DO NOT underestimate this exam! | |

| What equipment did you use to prepare? So far I've managed to get a hold of 2 2502s, a 2613 (with a WIC-2T), a 3002 (for $17, hehe), 6 CSU/DSUs and some cables. It's handling the CCNP material nicely. | |

| I do the final exam of CCNP next week. Wish me good karma. I've passed all the rest of the CCNP exams first time so here goes nothing. As for the CCIE, it is a very expensive exam. Pray for me to get an employer that will foot the bill for that one, I'm up for the challenge technically but not financially. And yes I am a female.
Clare Gough has the CCIE.

I'm a women and currently working on my CCNP. CCIE is next.

| I've got my sights set on it. | |

| That's a good question! I think it's a secret. I have heard that the hands-on final is EXTREMELY difficult and if you haven't prepared via REAL equipment, you can forget it! I have a friend who took the online twice before passing it. He took the hands-on and failed. I'm not sure if he's passed it or not as of today. But . . . he has moved to California so that he doesn't have to travel so far to take the hands-on exam! | |
