One thing I noticed about IT fems

| Hi,
Something I noticed in IT field is that unlike some women sings different the ladies really get more than the guys. I am not trying to diss anyone but it is a fact! I know 2 ladies who work for some company , one of them is a small NT domain admin getting paid 70k and all she does all day is chat on the net well most of the time, another works at this lighting compnay as a help desk and she gets p[aid 50k and she dont know a thing about networking. And oh someone very very very close to me is also getting paid 40k for admin asst while she don't know a thing about computers , yup she dont she just go there and answer phone calls. And on the other hand I know some guys with impressive certs like mcsd , ccnp and getting treated like dirt meaning low pay...
i am not hating the ladies hell I love em but I just felt like expressing the facts I have encountered...

True, goof-offs can be male or female.
I knew of some male "network engineers" at my last ISP who sat around looking at lots of porn, or watching whole movies on the network making in the 60s. (This was less than a year ago)

| There are lazy bums in every industry. Hell, just look a most politicians. I used to work as a COBOL programmer and believe you me, I sometimes put in 60+ hours per week sifting through millions of lines of code. I EARNED my money! | |

| Come on Ghost, don't be like that. You know it's not a good idea to generalize. There are slackers in every company but on the whole women have to work a lot harder to get a foot in the door and just like in most arenas (in this country anyway) are paid less than the men they work with for the same job. | |

| I also say its both and not even just the IT field. I work at a school and most of the staff is surfing the web and doing "Chats" on line while I am studying and preparing for my Classes and upcoming exams.

| EVERYONE DOES IT !!!!
Im at work now and instead of working im writing this! You all have your moments when u lose concentration or feel like a break and you do something more enjoyable.

| Yes, lazy bums are always there. And there are men and women.
Some of the women talk nicely to their bosses and keep their jobs. And so are some men (if their bosses are females.)
