| I am having hard time trying to sort names listed in one column of a table in ascending order.
I have the numbers in the first column and the names in the second column. I select the second column only and click the sort button. It sorts the names right but the numbers columns get messed up. I tried this on differnt computers, and though I am doing the same thing It gets right on some computers, and messed up on other. What is going wrong? | |

| If you're in Office 2003 (probably XP too) Try going to Tools/Options/Edit in Word and you'll see a "Smart Cut & Paste" check mark there and also there is a 'settings' box there where you can uncheck a lot of 'auto' stuff. Let me know if it works. |
