Dear Ladies and Gentlemen:

I just began studying Visual Basic 6 (enterprise version) Database programming with my Windows 2000 Professionals workstation.

The first section of the lesson is to use 'Visual Data Manager'.

But when I tried to use 'Visual Data Manager' to open my Access 2000 personal file (created for practice purpose). It comes up error message:

Unrecognized database format

The Visual Data Manager just can open up Northwind and Biblio files included with Visual Basic 6, but no other access files.

Wonder where is the problem???

Please kindly h-e-l-p !!

Thanks in advance.
