| Hi all
Just a word of caution to you all. I sat the Word 2003 Expert exam yesterday 31 July 2004) . When I saw the questions I was quite pleased as they looked relatively easy (For Expert Level). As I am an IT trainer for MOS amonst other certs I am familiar with the exam interface etc, so I did not forsee any problems arising. I answered each question carefully and to the best of my knowledge correctly (Nothing surpised me at all), however, my score was below what I expected it to be although I did pass. Perhaps I was a little too sure of myself (it has been known) but, I am disapointed I did not get full marks as I have with most of the others.
As the exam has just been released I am intending to take this up with the MOS agent over here (N Ireland) to see if there is any way they can tell me what the problem was.
I was thinking of sitting the Excel 2003 Expert exam, but, I think I will hold off for a week or two.
I have completed the Word 2003 & Excel 2003 core with no problems and full marks.
One thing I can think of is that I used some right clicks, instead of using menus, but the exam is supposed to allow for that. Another is the Macro questions, when renaming a Macro in a toolbar, I adapted it instead of typing it in, but it was showing the text exactly as it should have.
I would like to hear from anyone who has taken or is going to take this exam in the near future to see if they come up against the same problem.
Sorry if I rambled on too much folks!!!!
Good luck in your exams |
